A biographical play, featuring music by Rameau, Grétry, Gluck, Piccinni, Sacchini, Salieri, Mozart and Nazaire Fabre, « C’était Marie Antoinette » depicts the life of the last Queen of France, from her arrival in Versailles to the years leading up and during the French Revolution. The production features original costumes by four-time Academy Award winner Milena Canonero, and Nuno Roque appears as Papillon de la Ferté.
